Red Line woman
11-p.m.-ish on Red Line, woman gets on, sits beside me, starts talking. She is tired, glad to be going home, sits all day stapling and collating, gets 20 minute breaks. Her back is killing her. I smile, nod, ask. She has children out of school for the summer.
