I am a bit upset that our phone has been disconnected. This is the second time in one month! I sent ###'s payment and mine. ### was supposed to send hers in as well. It was late as it was, so one day, our phone was cut off. I called the 800 number and explained that our checks had been sent in. The lady said she would reconnect us, even though she wasn't supposed to. And there would be a $20? reconnection fee.
This past week, the phone was cut off again. I called again and was told that one payment was received. Mine and ###'s. ### figured hers had been lost in the mail, but I had my doubts. She didn't seem to care at all that we lost our service. We couldn't call or receive calls, except for 800 numbers. It was her payment that caused the problem, and it effects her the least.
I receive various calls from family, school or businesses every week. I use the phone daily and am suffering without it. My to-do list is getting longer and longer. Our service will not continue until the balance is paid. So Mom can't call me from Texas. No one can contact me by phone in an emergency. It's very inconsiderate.
My money is ready to go as soon as the bills arrives. Yet I'm no stranger to late fees, now this reconnection fee. I will have to explain to Mom and Dad that ### had not paid her bill yet. The first time the phone was out, I simply told them it was a misunderstanding. This makes me look bad and irresponsible, not only to my family but to my friends and associates.
