Weenie Roast

Ana woke me up at about 7:15 a.m. We were to buy tickets for KROQ's Weenie Roast. She and her cousin were going to go. It's in June. This concert wasn't the typical get there early, get a better grade of seat. It was the get there early to get a bracelet at 8. Be there for the lottery at 10. Hope you get a lucky number for a good place in line, so you can buy your "limit two" tickets.

There was a huge line at the Blockbuster in Downey, full of high school kids, it seemed. We got our bracelets, then left for her cousin's house. We had to get money from her to buy her ticket, about $30. Even though the tickets weren't for me, I really hoped that Ana or I had a good number. I wanted this quest to be successful. In the end, it wasn't. The tickets sold out long before we would have had our chance. Ana was sad, and so was I. Somehow, the lottery thing didn't seem fair.

Tonight was the series finale of "The Fresh Prince." It was really sad. It was funny, as well. I never expected to see Arnold and Mr. Drummond or the Jeffersons and Florence. It was great. I could have cried, but the water never turned to tears.

MY DRUM TEACHER STOOD ME UP TODAY. AND THIS WASN'T THE FIRST TIME. I WANTED THAT LAST LESSON, BECAUSE I HAD SOME QUESTIONS.
